What is a doula?
A doula offers physical, emotional and educational support before, during and after a birth to a mother and her family members.
Support is offered for all types of births, home, hospital, medicated, unmedicated, vaginal, belly birth and more.
“Don’t push the river, it flows by itself.”
- Barry Stevens (born Mildred Fox)
I meet with every potential client over a warm cup of tea to answer questions and get to know one another.

A closing ceremony is a special way to celebrate a mother and her postpartum journey.
A pregnant woman is very open emotionally and physically. This ceremony is a way to warm and close the mother back up after birth.
She will be warmed by being wrapped in rebozos, rubbed down in a warming oil and a special warming belly rub application. To finish the ceremony she will enjoy a hot tea and a warm fruit and flower bath.
