In the morning I woke up to my phone ringing. I was so excited it was time. However, I was also extremely nervous. I have about fifty miles to travel and it sounded like the baby would arrive soon. I grabbed all on my bags and jumped into my car as quickly as possible.
I was so relieved when I finally pulled into the driveway. Upon entering the house I discovered I had made it on time. The oldest daughter had filled the tub and had boiling water going on the stove to warm the water up.
It was very aware that I had made it just in time. I knew the baby would be arriving any moment. Soon all of the siblings had woken up and joined us for the birth of their new baby. All of their eyes were so full of excitement. I was very honored to be a witness to this amazing birth.
It was a very powerful experience to see this mama deliver this baby and pull the baby up on her chest. She was glowing.
The younger sibling ran out of the room as soon as her new sibling was born. She had to go grab a stool. She set her step stool down and quickly got on. She wanted a better view of the new baby.
They decided not to look at the gender until after momma had gotten out of the tub and had gotten comfortable. This was quite fun waiting a little longer to find out. Soon the mama looked.
Welcome to the world baby girl.
